Parade 1: Rio-Style Parade 3:00-4:30 pm
This is a Rio-Style parade in the traditions of the great carnaval parades in Rio de Janeiro. The parade includes a sound car, a large bateria, over 25 samba feather dancers, a children's section, a float, a bahiana group, and the King of Carnaval.
The parade on the Promenade from 5th to 3rd street.
Parade 2: Trio-Electrio Parade 5:30 - 6:00 pm
Unlike the Rio Parade, everyone can participate in the "Trio-Electrio" or Electrio Parade features a sound card, a big drum corp and most important: YOU! Like in Bahia, you can buy a T-Shirt and be part of the parade.
This year's band will be "Made in Bahia" playing the authentic music from Bahia. The parade will lead right back into the event with Made in Bahia continuing the fun on stage.
Samba 4 U Bloco and Diane will be leading the dancers.
